VICTORIAN ELEGANCE

What happens when a totally inspired event planner teams up with a talented group of  wedding pros?  See for yourself!  Says Candian-based Eva Satchell of Beauty BrideWedding Planning,Rentals and Events: "To sum this shoot up: So much fun, so much beauty and a vision brought to life! This shoot has been playing in my mind for some time now and to finally be able to put this together was amazing. Once I was approached by a local photographer who wanted to work with me, this shoot idea came screaming out! We planned the theme and look which blended extremely well. Becca wanted to incorporate a West Coast flare mixed with Victorian Elegance. OK, so what does this consist of? Well, trailing wild Ivy bouquets with pops of chiffon, handmade flowers matched with hand crafted head pieces laced in silk florals and crystal bling gems which I sat for hours creating-- the perfect fit for our two stunning models. As a store manager of Victoria Bridal Boutique where the shoot took place, I handpicked two elegant Victorian Kenneth Winston Gowns which screamed AMAZING! Not only did the models fit them perfectly, I feel they captured the true beauty we were aiming for.Our make-up and hair artists worked so well together bringing the ever so stunning models to the point of perfection. The soft flowing curls to the pop of colour in the eye shadows brought our close up images that WOW factor. Becca our photographer worked closely with our artsist to make sure the look and feel was coming to life. The cake was something I had envisioned and projected this to Passion for Cakes and TA DA! She delivered! It brought our West Coast theme together so nicely.Being a wedding planner and decorator I had everything I needed to stage this shoot from couches to vintage cases right there in my showroom inside the boutique. Creating this look was so much fun as I love to make accessories such as belts, tiaras and veils for clients, so this was just right up my street. Having such control of a vision and then bringing it to life with the photographer was magical. The photographer was extremely passionate and knew what she wanted to capture. The misty Victorian images are truly breath taking from her edits! The morning of the shoot I ran over the road from my house clipping and collecting wild shrubs to create the bouquets and floral stands in the shoot, it just shows that with creativity and a little time you can make something wildly beautiful."
